The new Monster Hunter 79Extreme is the heaviest of the three rods in the series. A shorter rod than the MH80H and more powerful than the 79XH is a very serious PE#10 popping rod. Featuring a stiffer tip and a slightly faster action the 79XH is right at home working poppers up to and slightly beyond 200g and still has the ability to cast up 300g. It has alot of lifting power down low and has plenty enough power to stop some monster sized GTs.
