I am so excited - the new Daiwa Saltiga Mavericks will be here any time now. The fact I am getting a 4500 for myself could have something to do with the level of excitement. It is going to be brilliant match for my new Patriot Design Sailfisher (and yes -even the colours match). Update. We have just come back from fishing the Ribbon Reefs off Cairns. I used an S-Extreme Maverick 4500 and Duncan used the 6500. We were very impressed pulling up some great GT's and many other species - though the trip will be remembered for the many very angry fish that took delight in blowing us away. |

Drop in and have a look at the Mavericks. We have most of the Saltigas in our personal collection and it looks like the Mavericks are going to be our go-to reels into the future until next time... Janelle |
