XPEDITER SERVICE

A broken rod will never have to keep you off the water again.  With the G.Loomis Xpediter Service, you can get a brand new rod to replace the broken one.  No questions asked, no waiting around for warranty claims.  This saves you the usual hassles and expense of packaging, insuring and returning your broken rod.

Here's how it works.  Just bring your rod back into Fish Head and ask for an Xpediter replacement rod and pay the specified fee for your rod.  (Excludes Premier graphite rods and custom built rods).  We will send your rod to G Loomis and arrange for a replacement rod.  (terms and conditions of the Xpediter service are subject to change by G. GLX

We could tell you that our ultra-high modulus GLX rods are the lightest, strongest, most sensitive rods in the world, but every rod company on earth makes that claim. IMX

IMX offers the ultimate in high performance, high modulus fibers.  With an impressive modulus (stiffness-to-weight ratio), and an extremely high strain-rate (elongation-to-failure rating). We're able to manufacture a blank that can be as much as 40% lighter that a comparable standard graphite model, and incredibly more sensitive, giving yu a "picture" of what the lure is doing every inch of your retrieve.  Fly rodders will appreciate the quick, responsive actions and efficiency in the casting stroke provided by this high energy, high performance material.  IMX blanks feature a non-glare stealth finish to help reduce weight to the very minimum and eliminate fish spooking glare.  Except for our GLX, there's not a rod anywhere that can outperform an IMX.

GL3

A performance blank that offers a perfect blend of intermediate modulus fibers with a fairly high strain-rate.  Born from improvements to our original IM6 blanks.  The GL3 blanks have the traditional matt black finish & are substantially lighter and more responsive than standard graphite blanks, making them great value for the level of performance.

GL2

G.Loomis performance with numerous technical improvements to make the blank stronger and more durable.  GL2 is substantially more responsive, ligher and more sensitive than our original 96% regular graphite blank.  The new look GL2 rods are amazingly powerful with a stenght-to-weight ratio that will surprise you.  Thanks to our highly effective epoxy resin system, you won't find a tougher, stronger blank for it's weight anywhere.  Manufacted with beautiful Evergreen or Neptune finish, it's high performance at an entry level price.
